I had the opportunity to perform at the Safe Summer Slam this weekend. The Safe Summer Slam is a youth empowerment event and neighborhood festival that encompasses a health fair, cultural showcase, games, entertainment, activities and food all in one. S/O to the homie, DP, for calling me to the event. It was good seeing all of you there. I hope everyone has a SAFE SUMMER! Here are some flicks from the event.

Me & the homie, producer Bigfut Music, had the opportunity to attend the ASCAP ‘I CREATE Music’ Expo in Hollywood, CA this weekend. I must say, it was a dope ass time. We got to meet & hear experiences from some of the industry’s best A&Rs, composers and producers. We were also able to meet & connect with other songwriters & artists WORLDWIDE!

The highlight of the expo was when our song, “Beautiful Way” (Marlon Dane & C.G. produced by Bigfut Music) was hand selected by ASCAP to be reviewed & critiqued by a panel of industry personnel. I am very thankful & excited to announce that “Beautiful Way” received rave reviews from the panel as well as from the audience in attendance!

At this time, I want to thank Shawn Barron (A&R with Atlantic Records), Dallas Martin (A&R with Warner Bros Records), Soundz (Producer, Usher – “Love In This Club Pt. II”) and Brian Warfield (Fisticuffs) (Producer, Miguel – “Quickie”) for their kind, positive words of wisdom.
