I was finally able to see one of my childhood musical idols live tonight and actually meet him! Brian McKnight is truly a talented singer, songwriter & producer. His set was so dope! He was funny, he sang his ass off and he had all the ladies melting! 2 things I noticed me & Brian McKnight had in common…we both sing & we both rock the faux hawk! Now if only I was 6’5″…LOL
What’s good fam?! Pls support my group Swaré by liking us on Facebook & following us on Twitter! We’ve been hard at work on our debut EP titled “The Swaré” and have received rave reviews at this years Ascap “I Create Music” EXPO. Check out a sample of our EP and let us know what you think!
I was walking thru the enormous Fry’s Electronics store near my place to cop a new pair of headphones and came across these.
Vinyl records.
I was so tempted to buy them just cause they look super ill but don’t even have a record player! I don’t know. Maybe. I’m a music collector. I’m not a huge fan of all the digital stuff. I like having a physical copy of the music I buy to stare at for hours and read the credits & thank yous. Please don’t die yet CD!!
I had the opportunity to perform at the Safe Summer Slam this weekend. The Safe Summer Slam is a youth empowerment event and neighborhood festival that encompasses a health fair, cultural showcase, games, entertainment, activities and food all in one. S/O to the homie, DP, for calling me to the event. It was good seeing all of you there. I hope everyone has a SAFE SUMMER! Here are some flicks from the event.

Thank you to all who came out to the AMP Music Festival on Saturday. There was so much talent on BOTH stages! It was good meeting new faces and seeing familiar ones as well!
I was hit up by the homie DJ Bille Knight (BumSquad DJZ, Jellyradio.com) to perform for the Fashion/Love/ Artist Showcase @ Belo Nightclub, Downtown SD. The show featured fresh designs from clothing lines such as Armory & DAYGO as well as musical talent from artists such as Rob Grimes & Abrina. Of course I had to get my dude C.G. on stage with me! Here are a few flicks from the show!
